The Medical Education Resource Centre (MERC) was established in 2004.

Functions of the MERC include:

Organizing student support programmes
Organizing training activities for the PGIM trainers
Support prospectus/curriculum development and revision
Organizing and supporting activities of the AAAED Committee
Providing office support for the Ethical Review Committee and the PGIM Journal (JPGIM)
Supporting Toxicology Online Programme
Organizing PGIM Academic Sessions
Organizing PGIM Orations and Titular Awards
Preparing and publications of the PGIM Newsletter

 

In addition to the above activities the MERC provides administrative and academic support to the Board of Study in Multi-disciplinary study courses and the Board of Study in Basic and Medical Sciences and the associated Speciality Boards.
